Journalists Are Idiots about Military Space Units - On Saturday, journalists decided to mock the U.S. Space Force for announcing the first "utility uniform nametapes" to bear the "U.S. Space Force" name. They (journalists) specifically mocked the camouflage uniform that the nametapes were attached to in the photo(s) accompanying the announcement.

Journalists actually believe that military space units fight in space--like astronauts or characters in a science fiction unit--and so they think the idea of "forest" camouflage uniforms is ridiculous.

Military space units were around for a long time before the creation of the Space Force. Here, for example, is a 2018 story about the Colorado Army National Guard deploying a space team to the Middle East. It provides a basic look at what military space units actually do . . . not that I expect journalists to care.
