Cpl. Thomas Leroux is a cavalry scout in the Georgia Army National Guard. One of the primary tasks of a cav scout is to perform reconnaissance and surveillance. He’s currently putting those skills to good use on a deployment to Texas at the southern border where he is assisting the U.S. Border Patrol by observing and detecting any illegal activity in the area.

In the video, Cpl. Leroux states that he enjoys what he’s doing. “The other thing that is great about this mission is that I am having a direct impact—that I can see—on the safety of America.”
