Expect the Ruling Class to Increase Its War on ‘White Supremacists’

Certain groups (you know who they are) are engaging in insurrection in cities across the nation. And when the ruling class isn’t openly supporting them, it’s blaming “white supremacists” for the destruction they’re causing. This actually isn’t surprising. In fact, you should expect the ruling class to use the rioting to increase its war on “white supremacists.”
For the past few years, pundits and politicians have warned of a “white supremacist threat.” Here’s a sampling of what I mean.
--- Democrats press GOP to scrutinize rise in white supremacy (Politico, Aug. 14, 2017)
--- The Congressional Hearing on White Nationalism Was a Grim, Chaotic Nightmare (GQ, April 9, 2019)
--- Confronting White Supremacy (Part II): Adequacy of the Federal Response (U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform, June 4, 2019)
--- Subcommittee Chairmen Issue Joint Statement on White Nationalist Terrorism Hearings (U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform, Sep. 16, 2019)
--- Meeting the Challenge of White Nationalist Terrorism at Home and Abroad (U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security, Sep. 18, 2019)
--- White terrorism is an international menace. We need a new strategy to fight it. (Washington Post, Sep. 24, 2019)
--- Signs of white supremacy, extremism up again in poll of active-duty troops (Military Times, Feb. 6, 2020)
--- Subcommittee on Military Personnel Hearing: “Alarming Incidents of White Supremacy in the Military—How to Stop It?” (U.S. House Armed Services Committee, Feb. 11, 2020)
And if you think the ruling class can’t possibly continue deeming “white supremacy” a threat now that the opposite of white supremacists are rioting across the nation, you might want to think again.
So don’t be surprised if the ruling class response to these riots isn’t to go after those who engaged in and supported them. Don’t be surprised to see the ruling class instead go harder than ever after anyone it deems to be a “white supremacist” threat.
