Are Joe Biden's Politics Downstream from 'West Wing' Pop Culture?

H/T goes to several Twitter accounts who have put forth the notion that Joe Biden may be a huge fan of the TV show The West Wing (1999-2006) amid revelations that President Obama personally directed the investigation into General Mike Flynn and VP Biden suggested they use the Logan Act as justification. Per The Washington Examiner:
It's not fully clear what Biden said about the 1799 law, but Flynn's legal team said "it appears" he "personally raised the idea" during a meeting between former President Barack Obama, then-FBI Director James Comey, national security adviser Susan Rice, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the days leading up to President Trump's inauguration.
But how does this recent insight into the final days of the Obama administration relate to a TV show? At first glance, it may seem odd, but some on Twitter are putting the theory out there and it may not be as ridiculous as one might think.
Hard not to laugh, right? But if this theory has even a scintilla of credibility, then all the jokes about a Biden administration seem less funny.
