Christmastime is here, and that means time for the same six popular Christmas songs to flood your streaming music services, and pump out of mall intercoms.

If you're looking for something a little different, and even if you're not, I present to you a diverse range of Christmas tunes for you holiday listening pleasure.

L'Orchestra Cinématique: "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy"

L'Orchestra Cinématique is known for their grinding, "Epic" versions of various classic hits and movie themes. Here's their take on Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky' The Nutcracker.

Michael Buble with Bing Crosby: "White Christmas"

Contemporary Christmas specials are usually pretty lame, but this time-traveling duet Buble did with Bing back in 2012 is pretty cool.

Nanowar of Steel: "Valhalleluja"

I've always been partial to my Judeo-Christian outlook on life, but what's a poor heathen to do at Christmastime? Well, if you're a Viking, you party like Odin and sing Valhalleluja!

David Phelps: "Catching Santa"

Christian music vocalist David Phelps's powerful voice is part of the Gaither Vocal Band, but his 2018 noir-ish lounge hit "Catching Santa" has gotten some well-deserved attention this year as part of an advertisement for Google's Pixel smartphone, and it is terrific.

Mariah-Manson Mashup

And finally, in answer to the awesome Mariah Carey meets Radiohead mashup posted by Michael Loftus last week, here's "All I Want for Christmas is The Beautiful People," which somehow works.

Too much?

Here's a brand-new swing jazz version of Carey's hit from the excellent Flash Mob Jazz.

Rock on, dream on, dance on and Joyeux Noel everyone!
