As of February 7, 2021, 1:32 PM EST, the global vaccination count was at 128 million. Vaccines have been administered in 73 countries and are averaging 4.69 million inoculations per day.
In the United States, 40.5 million shots have been administered so far. More Americans have now received the vaccine than individuals that tested positive. Vaccinations began in the US on December 14 with healthcare workers being the first recipients. The US is averaging 1.43 million inoculations per day.
