Toronto School Focused On Cultivating Empathy Among Its Students

In Toronto, the BBC covers a class that is emphasizes the cultivation of empathy among young students.

Using a 7-month instructor named Naomi, the Market Lane School in Toronto, Canada is cultivating empathy in its 9-year old students.

"It’s because of an education programme called Roots of Empathy, which is designed to encourage kids to be kinder. The idea is that because a baby can’t explain and externalise how it’s feeling, children learn to recognise and identify the baby’s emotions, and become more emotionally astute themselves."
