Is your instagram feed overflowing with adorable pups? A new study confirms what we’ve always suspected: Dog owners are obsessed with their dogs. So much so that 65% of dog owners admit to taking more photos of their dogs than of their significant others, according to the results of a study from Rover.com.
The results of the study, done by rover.com, confirm a disheartening number of things for the underappreciated partner in your life. For instance, nearly half of those asked said it was harder to leave their pooch for a week than it would be to leave their human counterpart.
56% said they greet their dog before other members of the family as soon as they walk in the door.
Overall the respondents agreed that dog-human relationship has changed from an ownership role to a family based one. You can tell the rest of your family it’s time to step aside now.
