The two baby otters were flown in from California.

Following a large storm on March 12, a response team picked up an otter pup near the California coast. This pup and another, that had been found in January, were flown to their new home in Atlanta.

Both otters could have been euthanized, but were specifically requested by the Georgia Aquarium.

They will be kept behind-the-scenes for now, as they acclimate. The older pup is named Mara and the younger is named Gibson.
