A Quote On The Nature Of Justice

This quote is often misattributed to Benjamin Franklin.

“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.”

― Unknown.

* This quote is often misattributed to Benjamin Franklin. It appears to be a modern take on a quote attributed to the Athenian General Thucydides. In, "the History of the Peloponnesian War," Thucydides said, "Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are." While Herodotus is often considered the 'father of history', the title really belongs to Thucydides, since he dispensed with myth, the supernatural, and focused on first hand-sources.
