Wilbur Ross: Unpaid Gov’t Workers Should Just “Get Loans”

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross doesn't see any reason federal workers can't just "get loans" to cover their expenses.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross was on a roll Thursday morning, downplaying the financial burden felt by furloughed federal employees and others working without pay during the partial government shutdown.

Speaking with CNBC, Ross intimated such workers are not in dire need and suggested they simply "get loans" to cover their expenses until the shutdown ends.
