House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slammed President Trump for attacking the late Rep. John Dingell at a rally last night.

During a Wednesday night rally, President Donald Trump implied that the late Congressman John Dingell — a World War II veteran who served in Congress for 59 years — might be "looking up" from hell, as he attacked Dingell's wife, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) over her vote for Trump's impeachment.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked about Trump's remarks during a Thursday morning press conference:

“The president clearly is insecure when it comes to statespersons -- whether it was John McCain… now John Dingell. What the President misunderstands is that cruelty is not wit."
