“Fox News just aired a major crack in Trump's red wall in the Senate! Senator Mike Lee called it the worst briefing he's ever seen on military matters and is very upset it's classified so can't be publicly debated. Fox cut away from him. https://t.co/tQ1zZYoVgZ”

Sen. Mike Lee's (R-Utah) remarks were cut short when Fox News cut away to host Neil Cavuto.

Fox News cut away from Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) after he emerged from a classified briefing on the Soleimani strike and began blasting the president's rush to war.

During his remarks, Lee called the meeting "the worst briefing I've seen."

“Now, I find this insulting, and demeaning, not, not personally, but to the office that each of the 100 Senators in this building happens to hold," he said. "I find it insulting and I find it demeaning to the Constitution of the United States to which we’ve all sworn an oath. It is after all the prerogative of the legislative branch to make war. Article 1, Section 8, makes that very clear....[goes on for another 30 seconds].”

After a very short time, and well before Lee was finished, the camera cut away to Fox News host Neil Cavuto.
