Police officers hold a group of black children at gunpoint

Law enforcement officials held a group of teenage boys at gunpoint who were merely cutting through a neighborhood to get to the store, according to Rawstory.

  • The incident occured in Clayton County, Georgia, and was recorded in a video posted on Twitter. The caption for the video read:

“Today in Clayton County, GA an officer decided to pull his gun out on 5 black teenagers about 13-15 yrs old for going through the neighborhood cut to the store. I’m assuming he thought they were robbing a house huh? 🤦🏾‍♂️ wake up people shit is sad it’s a cut in every hood.”

  • The video shows six children, at least five of whom were said to be black, with their hands in the air.
  • A woman was overhead yelling in the video “they are babies” and asking the officer why he had a gun pulled out.

“But why do you have a gun?” the woman implores. “They are kids. What are they doing? What did they do wrong?”
