"I know nothing about QAnon ... I do know they are very much against pedophilia. They fight it very hard.”

President Donald Trump refused to denounce the QAnon conspiracy theory during Thursday’s town hall, insisting he knows nothing about it.

  • Host Savannah Guthrie explained to Trump that the theory claims “Democrats are a Satanic pedophile ring and that you are the saviour of that.”
  • “Can you just once and for all state that that is completely not true?” she asked.
  • Trump responded: “I know nothing about QAnon. I know very little.”
  • Guthrie interjected, “I just told you,” to which the president replied: “You told me, but what you tell me doesn’t necessarily make it fact, I hate to say that.”
  • “I know nothing about it,” he continued. “I do know they are very much against pedophilia. They fight it very hard.”
