Washington DC Attorney General Karl Racine is the third to investigate President Trump's inaugural committee's spending.

According to Market Watch, Washington DC Attorney General Karl Racine has subpoenaed Trump’s inaugural committee. He wants to investigate whether the fund’s spending was “wasteful, mismanaged” or “improperly provided private benefit.”

This is the third request to the committee of a similar nature. The other requests come from the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office and the New Jersey attorney general.

“The Presidential Inauguration Committee is in receipt of the subpoena issued by the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and is in contact with staff regarding this inquiry,” a spokesman for the committee said.
