Tweet By Trump, Jr. Suggests Ex-Deputy Director Of The FBI Was Fired

In an ill-advised tweet, Donald Trump, Jr. seems to admit that former FBI Director Andrew McCabe was fired.

In a series of tweets Thursday afternoon, Donald Trump, Jr. seemed to indicated that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was terminated as opposed to stepping down on his own accord, crediting the contents of the 'Nunes memo' with his downfall.

The White House previously indicated that President Donald Trump had nothing to do with McCabe abandoning his post ahead of a planned March retirement.

The president's son also seems to connect the memo to the "unmasking" of Trump campaign officials.

Republicans on Capitol Hill, meanwhile, have insisted the memo has nothing to do with the Russia investigation.
