Tucker Carlson's guest historian blasted Fox News as a propaganda network for billionaires, and Carlson lost it.

Dutch historian Rutger Bregman appeared to get under the skin of Fox News host Tucker Carlson during an un-aired interview on the subject of tax fairness, as picked up by NowThis.

After Bregman lumped Carlson into a group of wealthy individuals who strive to scapegoat economic inequality by pointing average Americans toward issues like immigration, Carlson suffered a full-on meltdown, calling Bregman a "moron."

"You are a millionaire funded by billionaires," Bregman said.

Bregman had also accused Fox News personalities of catering to the whims of Rupert Murdoch and the billionaire class by failing to discuss issues like raising taxes on the wealthy, despite wide popular support for such moves.

"Why don't you go fuck yourself, you tiny brained—and I hope this gets picked up, because you're a moron. I tried to give you a hearing, but you were too fucking annoying," Carlson said.

The thing is he could have easily rebutted the dudes argument by mentioning that those top tax rates didn't kick in until much higher than nowadays. And that almost no one paid them. They resulted in like less than 1% of all taxes and revenue. The govt actually makes more today. Also I'm sure most people would also agree that there should be smaller government and that they don't need more money.
