President Donald Trump, who has previously claimed to have, "the world's best memory," is having trouble recalling anything that would connect Russia with his campaign for the presidency. Just nine days ago, Trump again claimed to have, "one of the great memories of all-time." But this great memory continues to fail him.
“I don't remember much about that meeting. It was a very unimportant meeting, took place a long time [ago]. Don't remember much about it,” Trump told reporters on the White House’s South Lawn as he departed for a 10-day trip to Asia.
Trump has had episodic memory failure before.
Donald Trump in a deposition for a Trump University lawsuit said that he doesn't recall claiming to have the world's greatest memory, according to newly released transcripts. At one point, he told Trump that the businessman had stated he had "one of the best memories in the world," according to a transcript that includes hundreds of pages of testimony. "I don't know. Did I use that expression?" Trump asked. When told he had used the phrase, the billionaire asked to see evidence that he had said it, being told there was video of his remark.
