On Monday, President Trump shared a video on Twitter of a white St. Louis, Missouri, couple standing outside their home while pointing guns at protesters, according to Bloomberg News.
- Both the man and the woman were armed, and one aimed a gun at protesters as they marched past the home of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson.
- The protesters are demanding her resignation after she read the names and addresses of those who sought to defund the city’s police department. This act is often referred to as “doxxing.”
- Trump retweeted the ABC News clip, which may be an endorsement of the couple’s stance.
- Earlier this week the president retweeted a video where a man can be heard shouting “white power,” though the White House claims he did not hear that before retweeting the video.
