President Trump will return to holding campaign rallies in the next couple of weeks.

CNN reports that the Trump campaign is preparing to relaunch President Donald Trump’s campaign rallies in the next two weeks, a plan confirmed to the news outlet by campaign manager Brad Parscale.

"Americans are ready to get back to action and so is President Trump. The Great American Comeback is real and the rallies will be tremendous. You'll again see the kind of crowds and enthusiasm that Sleepy Joe Biden can only dream of," Parscale said in a statement.

Trump has not held a rally since March amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Aides told CNN that recent protests against the death of George Floyd have only increased the president’s desire to return to holding rallies.
