Trump Taunts John McCain When Asked About USS John McCain Controversy

Trump continues to taunt the late Arizona senator even after his death.

The Trump Administration, working in coordination with the U.S. military, worked to ensure that the warship USS John S. McCain was “out of sight” during his visit to Japan.

When asked if it was fair to the sailors aboard the USS John S. McCain warship that they were banned from seeing Trump speak during his Japan visit, Trump replied:

“Yeah, I don't know what happened. I wasn't involved. I would not have done that.”

Trump then went on to bash John McCain, a former U.S. Senator and war hero, saying, “I was very angry with John McCain because he killed healthcare; II was not a big fan of John McCain in any way, shape or form."

“But I would never do a thing like that.”
