Donald Trump actually thinks that he is the creator of the word 'fake', a word that has its origins in the late eighteenth century according to a quick search on google. Trump made this statement while being interviewed by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on the Christian T.V. network 'Trinity News'. The former governor is the father of the Trump's press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
When it came to word 'fake', Trump said, "I think one of the greatest of all terms I’ve come up with is ‘fake.’ I guess other people have used it, perhaps, over the years, but I’ve never noticed it." While Trump did not invent the work 'fake' he probably invented the term (or at least brought to prominence) the term 'fake news', which is defined as any news that Trump doesn't like.
