President Donald Trump's personal attorney is in the cross hairs of Special Counsel Michael Cohen.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, is under investigation for bank fraud and campaign finance violations according to the Washington Post.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is focusing his attention on payments Cohen allegedly made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Trump attorney Cohen is being investigated for possible bank fraud, campaign finance violations, according to a person familiar with the case. FBI agents on Monday raided the Manhattan office of President Trump’s private lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records about Cohen’s clients, including those related to a 2016 payment he made to adult-film star Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had a sexual encounter with Trump. Among the documents seized were privileged communications between Cohen and his clients — including those with Trump, according to a person familiar with the investigators’ work.

While communications between attorneys and their clients are usually privileged, an exception to this privilege exists if an attorney believes a client is using their services to engage in criminal activity.
