MSNBC’s Ari Melber shed some light on the recent writings of William P. Barr, Trump’s pick for AG.

On Friday, Ari Melber reported on writings by Trump’s current pick for Attorney General, according to a Twitter thread.

“A president can commit criminal obstruction by encouraging ‘perjury’.” -Ari Melber, on the writings of William P. Barr.

Barr recently wrote that a president could commit criminal obstruction through other means as well, including pushing a witness to change testimony and impairing the availability of evidence. Melber stated that all of these claims could help Trump in countering the actions of Muller in the investigation on Russia.
