TRUMP RETAINS ATTORNEY FOR RUSSIA PROBE

President Donald Trump has retained Marc Kasowitz, a name partner of Kasowitz, Benson and Torres LLP, to act as his legal counsel according to Fox Business News.

Mr. Kasowitz has a history of working with Mr. Trump.

His expertise is in litigation, particularly high-stakes litigation.

Mr. Kasowitz’s is being retained to assist Mr. Trump in his dealings with Robert Mueller, the former FBI Director. Mr. Mueller was recently appointed special counsel by the Justice Department. Here, Mr. Mueller’s role will be to determine if the existence or nature of ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Mr. Kasowitz’s former legal partner, David Friedman, is the Trump administration’s current ambassador to Israel.
