Trump Official Snaps At Reporter Who Asks If Refugee Limits Will Hurt Christians
Acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli apparently did not appreciate one of the questions posed by a reporter on Friday, according to RawStory.
Asked if persecuted Christians will suffer under the Trump administration’s recent decision to cut the annual cap on refugees by half next year — dropping the number to 18,000 — Cuccinelli responded, “I take issue with how you ask your alleged question.”
On a follow up question asking if he would suggest that persecuted Christians attempt seeking asylum by crossing the border into the U.S., Cuccinelli said: “Absolutely not, we’ll turn them back.”
