Trump legal advisor Jenna Ellis claims that Michelle Obama needs to find Jesus to improve her depression.

Jenna Ellis, President Trump’s legal advisor, has claimed that the solution to former First Lady Michelle Obama’s depression would be to accept Jesus, according to Friendly Atheist.

  • Michelle Obama revealed on her podcast this week that she was experiencing “low-grade depression” as a result of the current tumultuous socio-political situation in the country.

"I know that I am dealing with some form of low-grade depression. Not just because of the quarantine, but because of the racial strife, and just seeing this administration, watching the hypocrisy of it, day in and day out, is dispiriting."

  • Ellis commented on the former First Lady’s situation during an appearance on Fox News, claiming that Mrs. Obama’s political identity is to blame:

“I think that this is more of an issue of Michelle Obama’s liberalism, because the Family Institute for Studies has shown that, actually, conservatives tend to be more joyful and more happy overall with their lives because we still believe in the pillars of society, which is the church and the family. And so I would encourage Michelle Obama to go to church and to find meaning in the Lord Jesus Christ as her own personal savior.”
