Trump also holds the record of lowest average approval rating among modern presidents.

Credible poll results have rarely cast President Donald Trump in a favorable light, and according to ABC News, they have also helped him achieve one record he is unlikely to boast about.

Trump is the first president in modern polling to never achieve approval from a majority of Americans, the news outlet reported this week. America’s 45th president also holds the record for the lowest average approval rating.

And Trump’s numbers likely will only get worse as the House impeachment inquiry moves forward, with polling from last week showing that just shy of half of Americans believe the president should be impeached and removed from office.

ABC News also noted that “six in 10 Americans or more say he’s not honest and trustworthy, lacks the kind of personality and temperament it takes to serve effectively and doesn’t understand their problems.”

Further, recent polls have shown that “54% say his policies have made the United States less respected globally, 58% disapprove of his overall job performance and 66% say he’s acted unpresidentially since taking office.”
