Trump Has Praised Himself 2,026 Times on Twitter Since Becoming President

The New York Times analyzed Trump’s 11,390 tweets since entering office and found distinct behavioral patterns.

The New York Times published an analysis of President Donald Trump’s tweets since he took office, according to Business Insider.

The analysis found that of the 11,390 tweets that have been posted from Jan. 20, 2017 to Oct. 15, 2019, more than 5,000 were attacks against someone or something, from Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation to the Democrats.

Trump’s second most likely tweet was self-praising, which he did 2,026 times.

For example, on July 11, 2019, he called himself “so great looking and smart, a true Stable Genius!”

Last year, on July 3, Trump bragged: “If not for me, we would now be at War with North Korea!”

However, since the Democrats have been leading the charge in the impeachment inquiry, Trump has dramatically escalated his Twitter use. In the first two weeks of October, Trump tweeted more than 500 times, triple his monthly tweet average.
