Trump Demands Standing Ovation From Crowd

President Donald Trump, believing his statement worth an ovation, instructed the crowd to stand for him.

During his speech to an audience of farmers in Nashville Monday, President Donald Trump decided he deserved a standing ovation and directed the crowd to stand up for him.

While touting the recently enacted tax reform legislation during an address at the American Farm Bureau Federation, Trump said Americans would now be able to “keep your farms in the family” because of changes to the estate tax.

“Get up,” Trump said as the audience started clapping.

After issuing the command, Trump then appeared to claim that the people rose to their feet of their own volition:

“That was a tough one to get,” he added. “That was a tough one. Obviously you love your families, otherwise, you wouldn’t be standing for that one.”
