Trump Defends U.S. Diplomat’s Wife Who Fled UK After Killing British Teen

The U.S. president suggested it is difficult to drive on the other side of the road and that "we've all done it."

President Donald Trump comes to defend the wife of a U.S. diplomat, who killed a British teenager in a road accident, according to Yahoo! News

Harry Dunn, 19, died after his motorbike collided with a car.

After rejecting a request from prime minister Boris Johnson to consider waiving the woman’s diplomatic immunity and her return to Britain to face authorities, Trump suggested that it is difficult to drive on the other side of the road and generalized that “we’ve all done it”. 

While he announced that the U.S. would be speaking to the woman soon, Trump wanted to try and bring about “healing” and that there were many Americans that sympathized with the teenager’s parents.
