Trump Campaign Postpones Events, Pence Will Resume Campaigning

The Trump campaign is moving its scheduled in-person rallies to virtual events or postponing them after President Trump tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, according to The Hill.
- All campaign events involving Trump family members have also been postponed, according to a Friday announcement by campaign manager Bill Stepien.
- Vice President Mike Pence will continue with his scheduled events after testing negative for the virus.
The president, first lady Melania Trump, senior adviser Hope Hicks and Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel have all tested positive for the coronavirus.
The White House says Trump is experiencing “mild symptoms” and that plans have been put in place to keep the government running in an orderly fashion while he goes into quarantine.
