TRUMP BLAMES SEAN SPICER FOR THE PUBLIC OUTRAGE THAT HAS FOLLOWED JAMES COMEY’S FIRING

President Donald Trump, a man notoriously unwilling to accept responsibility or accountability for anything, is reportedly looking to blame Press Secretary Sean Spicer for the public outrage that followed his firing of James Comey.

The Week reports that Mr. Trump was outraged that no one was publicly defending his decision to fire James Comey. It’s been reported that Mr. Spicer learned of the decision to fire the former FBI Director only an hour before the public.

An official of the Trump administration told the Washington Post:

“This is probably the most egregious example of press and communications incompetence since we’ve been here. It was an absolute disaster. And the president watched it unfold firsthand.”

Mr. Trump is now actively looking to replace Mr. Spicer while the spokesman is fulfilling his naval reserve duties at the Pentagon this week. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is reportedly being looked as his possible replacement, though Mr. Trump is said to like that Mr. Spicer’s press briefings accrue high television ratings.
