NBC15 reports that President Trump has appointed former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) to the board of trustees of esteemed think tank Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the Smithsonian Institute.
The Wilson Center is “the nation’s key non-partisan policy forum for tackling global issues through independent research and open dialogue,” according to the center’s website.
The entire board of the think tank is appointed by the president. Each appointment lasts for six years.
