Dan Broadbent

Official estimates by the CDC state that over 22 million have contracted the flu, resulting in over 12,000 deaths.

While news of the Wuhan Coronavirus dominates our headlines, official estimates by the Center for Disease control state that over 22,000,000 people in the United States have contracted the seasonal flu, resulting in over 12,000 deaths.

And that's just the low end of the estimates.

It's possible that as many as 31 million people have become sick with the flu, resulting in as many as 15 million medical visits. And as many as 30,000 people may be dead as a result of complications related to the seasonal flu.
