The NRA’s Dana Loesch Claims The Media Loves Mass Shootings

The NRA spokeswoman also said it is only grieving White mothers that draw attention, while Black mothers are ignored.

National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference this week saying that some in the media "love" mass shootings.

"Many in legacy media love mass shootings. You guys love it.... Crying white mothers are ratings many in the legacy media."

Loesch clarified that it is the ratings and not the tragedy that the media enjoys. She also made another clarification: it's only the grieving white mothers that are "ratings gold".

"And notice I said 'crying white mothers' because there are thousands of grieving black mothers in Chicago every weekend, and you don't see town halls for them, do you?"
