South Florida Pastor Accused Of Strangling Sister For Missing Work At Church
A Miami Pastor was arrested on Monday for strangling and beating his sister after she missed two weeks of work at the church, according to local 10 News.
Willie Strange, 61, turned himself to the police on the same day he assaulted and confined his sister, who sustained a bruise to her lip and right eye and multiple scratches to her neck and chest, according to a police report.
Strange held the victim captive for ten minutes following the argument, after which she ran to Miami police’s north substation.
The pastor faces charges of domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and battery. On Tuesday, he was held by the authorities in lieu of an $11,500 bond and was ordered to stay more than 500 feet away from the victim.
