SITTING NEXT TO MEXICO’S PRESIDENT, TRUMP SAYS MEXICO WILL “ABSOLUTELY” PAY FOR BORDER WALL

Sitting next to Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto, U.S. President Donald Trump said that Mexico will “absolutely” pay for the border wall.

Both Presidents spoke with one another while in attendance at the G-20.

For years, the President has claimedthat not only will the U.S. build a wall separating the U.S. and Mexico, but that Mexico will pay for it.

This policy prescription was a powerful motivator for Trump supporter’s, who tended to blame undocumented immigrants for their labor woes.

The President began his campaignfor office by insulting Mexicans. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

President Enrique Peña Nieto has told President Trump that Mexico will not pay for a border wall under any circumstances.

This doesn’t prevent Mr. Trump from attempting to bully him or embarrass him in public.
