Just recently, local prosecutors launched an inquest into the death of a mentally disturbed man, Terrill Thomas, who died in his custody. Mr. Thomas had been denied water for over a week at the time of his passing according to the medical examiner. The medical examiner classified Mr. Thomas’s death as a homicide.
Following this determination by the medical examiner, Mr. Clarke called his office and threatened him. He then called the state Medical Examining Board to try to get him sanctioned and have his license revoked.
