Roy Moore Blames Molestation Allegations On Gays And Socialists

The Republican candidate for Senate asserted that the "liberal agenda" is behind allegations of sexual misconduct.

During a speech at Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in Alabama Wednesday night, Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore stood behind the pulpit and asserted that left-leaning gays, lesbians, transgenders, and others in the liberal community are behind the string of sexual misconduct allegations against him. Their alleged goal? To keep his conservative, Christian views out of Washington.

According to Buzzfeed News, Moore claimed once again that the allegations are false and decried the "liberal agenda":

"When I say they who are 'they?'" he told the clapping congregation. "They’re liberals. They don’t hold conservative values. They are the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender who want to change our culture. They are socialists who want to change our way of life and put man above God and the government is our God. They're the Washington establishment...who don't want to lose their power."

When a single protester interrupted Moore's speech, others in the congregation came to the Republicans defense:

"Does that look like the face of a molester?" one man yelled. "You ought to be ashamed. That's a man's man. You got this judge!"

Moore has pulled ahead of his Democratic opponent, Doug Jones, in spite of the allegations, according to recent polls.

Any man who calls another man "a man's man" has sexual attraction to the man and should be ignored. No "man's man" abuses women.
