Edward-Isaac Dovere, a staff writer at The Atlantic, noted on Twitter Wednesday that stock footage used Republican National Convention videos appears to have come from Russian and Ukraine.
Dovere wrote that it “looks like the Republican convention videos tonight used stock footage from a factory in Moscow and a Ukrainian company's shot of working on a cell phone,” attaching images from the videos and screenshots of their origins to the tweet.
