RNC OFFICIAL APOLOGIZES AFTER PUBLICLY HOPING FOR SEN. MCCAIN’S DEATH

Republican National Committee member Diana Orrock has apologized to Senator John McCain (R) after publicly hoping for his death in a response to an article an Twitter according to the Hill.

A GOP official who shared a story on Twitter calling for the death of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) after he underwent surgery for a blood clot apologized Tuesday. Diana Orrock, a committeewoman for the Republican National Committee in Nevada, on Monday night tweeted an article about McCain titled “Please Just F‑‑‑ing Die Already” with the caption “Amen.”

After intense criticism, Mr. Orrock apologized and said Senator McCain was an “American hero”.
