Republican County Chairman Accused Of Sexually Abusing A Child

In Texas, Hays County GOP precinct chair Bo Dresner, 40, was charged with the sexual assault of a child.

Statesman reports that a Republican precinct chair in Hays County, Texas has resigned after being arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Bo Dresner, 40, remained in Hays County Jail as of last Friday. He was arrested when the county sheriff received reports that Dresner had abused someone for seven years.

The victim has not yet been identified. Four children were removed from Dresner’s custody and Child Protective Services is investigating.

Dresner was appointed in 2015 as Precinct 336 chair. According to Chairman Russell Hayter, Drsner formerly served as the sergeant-at-arms with the Hays County Republican Party.
