The Trump administration is currently threatening to invade Venezuela because of its socialist leaders.

According to The Daily Beast, the Trump Organization sold a property to a shell company with ties to the Maduro regime. The luxury property was sold to Venezuelans who also have ties to Diosdado Cabello, who is the vice head of Venezuela’s Socialist Party, which is President Maduro’s government. Cabello is now being sanctioned by the U.S. for alleged drug trafficking and money laundering.

In April 2015, the Trump Organization sold the aforementioned property to a Costa Rican company linked to Marlene Coromoto Arenas Colina, a Venezueland women married to Pedro Fritz Morejón. Morejón was formerly the tourism minister of Venezuela under former President Hugo Chávez. Both Cháves and Morejón have links to Cabello.

The sale is now being scrutinized as Trump attempts to remove Maduro from power in Venezuela.
