REPORT: TRUMP ATTORNEY WON’T RULE OUT FIRING SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER

Jay Sekulow, an attorney for President Donald Trump, will not rule out firing special counsel Robert Mueller.

Mr. Mueller was appointed by the U.S. Justice Department to head an independent probe of alleged ties between President Donald Trump, his campaign, and his White House Staffers with Russia.

Appearing on ABC’s This week with George Stephanopoulos, Mr. Sekulow said, “Look, the president of the United States, as we all know, is a unitary executive.” Mr. Sekulow added, “But the president is going to seek the advice of his counsel and inside the government as well as outside. And I’m not going to speculate on what he will, or will not, do.”

The firing of Robert Mueller would likely lead to a constitutional crisis.
