Report: Robert Kraft Was Trump’s Guest At Middle East Meeting With Qatar

After a leak of confidential memos in which Kim Darroch, Britain's ambassador to the U.S., called Trump “inept,” Trump has said he will “no longer deal with him.” The White House reportedly “cancelled an invitation on Monday for Darroch to attend a dinner with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and the emir of Qatar.”

Instead, Trump invited Robert Kraft to join him at the dinner. Less than five months ago, Kraft was arrested for soliciting a prostitute, according to Ha’Aretz.

At the dinner, Trump and al-Thani reportedly spoke about new regional and international developments.

Trump has also criticized Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May, who has fully supported Darroch. Trump tweeted: "What a mess she and her representatives have created. I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well thought of within the U.S. We will no longer deal with him. The good news for the wonderful United Kingdom is that they will soon have a new Prime Minister."

May will leave her post as Prime Minister by the end of the month.

In the leaked memos, Darroch wrote: "We don't really believe this Administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept."

British officials are now investigating who leaked the memos.
