PR Firm Linked To Mitch McConnell Helped Covington Teens Spin Their Story

The PR firm RunSwitch is co-run by an adviser to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

After footage surfaced of a MAGA hat-wearing teen from Covington Catholic High School appearing to disrespectfully stare down a Native American elder, the boy’s family hired a public relations firm to assist in quelling what has become national outrage.

That firm, RunSwitch, is co-run by adviser to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) Scott Jennings, according to TPM.

The firm said in a statement that it “has been retained by the Sandmann family to offer professional counsel with what has become a national media story. We are working with the family to ensure an accurate recounting of events which occurred this past weekend,” according to the Louisville Courier Journal, where Jennings is a columnist. Jennings is also a contributor at CNN.

Jake you failed to mention anywhere in your piece that Nathan Phillips lied about what happened He initiated the confrontation Why did you omit that? Also you are NOT a political moderate Why do you state that you are? Lastly Nathan Phillip's is not a an "elder" He is a professional protestor

I've read nothing about Phillips being a professional protestor. Would you mind sharing your sources? Valid sources, please
