Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump took two of the top four spots in a recent poll gauging potential 2024 GOP candidates.

Two of Republicans’ top picks for presidential contenders in 2024 happen to be children of the current president, according to a recent SurveyMonkey poll conducted for Axios.

Ivanka Trump, who serves as an adviser to President Donald Trump, and her brother, Donald Trump Jr., both appeared in the top five among GOP voters — with Trump Jr. polling at No. 2, just behind Vice President Mike Pence, and Ivanka coming in at No. 4, just ahead of Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Axios noted that polls conducted this early are predominantly a measure of name recognition but said the results are “also a vivid illustration of just how strong Trump's brand is with the GOP.”

Though Trump Jr. has not joined his father’s administration, he has emerged as one of the president’s fiercest defenders, particularly on social media.

Ivanka, whose title is “Advisor to the President,” has racked up a portfolio that includes “education and economic empowerment of women and families, plus job creation and economic growth through workforce development, skills training and entrepreneurship.”

The president’s daughter also has represented the United States on the world stage, Axios noted, all of which positions her to carry on her father’s legacy should she opt to run for president herself in the future.

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Florida Senator Rick Scott, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott rounded out the top ten in the Axios poll.
