Volunteer Fire Chief Paul Smith of the Muse Fire Department in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania has apologized for calling Steelers coach Mike Tomlin the 'N-word' according to the New York Daily News.

"Tomlin just added himself to the list of no good n-----s. Yes I said it," Smith wrote. He later released a statement to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 to apologize for what he said. "I am embarrassed at this. I want to apologize. I was frustrated and angry at the Steelers not standing for the anthem," Smith said. "My FD had absolutely nothing to do with this. I am deeply regretful at what I posted."It's unclear whether or not Smith will face disciplinary actions for his remarks. The decision will likely come from the fire department.
